The interim government has received ousted Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev's resignation letter, Russian news agencies reported. A spokesman for the interim government Edil Baisalov said the interim leader Roza Otunbayeva was handed the original statement of Bakiyev's resignation during her meeting with the Kazakh ambassador to Kyrgyzstan and a representative from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). "(Interim Prime Minister) Roza Otunbayeva met with a special envoy of the chairman-in-office of the OSCE and with the director of the OSCE center in Bishkek, who handed her an envelope with the original copy of Bakiyev's letter of resignation," said Baisalov at a press conference in Bishkek.
